Old pre- upgrade did work great. This upgrade fails. I paid good money for this!

Used to be good and now barely okay. Would not suggest paying for it.

This app has been useful in helping me keep a record of sightings, how consistent species are to my area. The sample bird songs are a real plus and the photos are good too.

Good pics and sounds clips from some states, rarely CA. But very disappointing and hard to believe no sizes are given in the description section, and neither are food preferences. Sure hope these are going to be added.

Im a total novice. App seems well thought out.

Uninstalled. I dont have time to give up my personal info just to see if the app is useful.

Where did the Glossary of birds go? Also bird parts, and feather names? It was all there before the newest update...

I use this thing all the time, easy to navigate, great recorded call quality.

not limited to CA; in fact, includes birds whose habitat is only in eastern north America. what differentiates this from the complete Audobon guide, which I also have? waste of money for me since it is not what it purports to be.

Excellent pictures from multiple angles. Very easy to use search capabilities on location, month, shape, sound, etc.

This app easily allows you to browse birds by shape, family, or many other variables - making it easy to compare, learn about or just enjoy a wide range of birds, including all the usual West coast visitors and a large sampling of Eastern species. It is a great addition to fans of iBird app -another outstanding bird app! Finally, the high quality photos are great on my iPad, along with the many sound clips.

I love this game!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You should get it.

This app is lots of fun. My 4 year old daughter loves browsing through the birds, looking at the excellent photos and hearing the bird calls. We have been paying more attention to the sounds of birds and nature around us and really paying attention when we didnt before! Great app for novices like us! I like the variety of search functions.

FANTASTIC resource. Easy to use & well laid out. Just stopped at rest stop in CA desert, Coso, & was able to identify a Western Kingbird just by putting yellow & gray in color & CA. I have loved this app since I got it so decided to share my enthusiasm.

The photography is awesome. I also really like the locale, description, similar birds & the songs are great. Just wish I could type in the name of the bird Im looking for-that would be very helpful.
